4 Generations

Today we were lucky enough to get a picture of Eli with 4 generations. When my great grandmother was alive I was able to get 5 with Lydia!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL LYDIA!

I can't believe that my little girl is 2 years old! Today we celebrated with the family that lives around us, and missed everyone in Fl, Mass, CA, and everywhere else. Right now Lydia is talking like a champ, often 3-4 word sentences. (Take into consideration that "Please" or "Thank-you" are always tacked on... she is very polite...most of the time) She is still working on mastering her running, but it won't be long. Lydia you are one of the loves of our lives and I couldn't imagine a world without you. We love you!

P.S. Don't let the picture fool you, she had a great time... but wasn't a big fan of the Happy Birthday song... is it my singing???

Just call me Martha

Thanks to my mom I have this wonderful book that teaches me to make all these cute cupcakes. For Lydia's birthday party I made some that looked very "spring". I'm thinking about opening my own bakery :)

Rubba dubb dubb

Today Eli learned how to splash and he is so proud of himself! :) Enjoy!

Brusha, brusha, brusha...

For all you parents out there, I know how difficult it can be to get a toddler to brush his/her teeth. Lydia fights us tooth and nail every time. However, Eli seems to have really taken to it. He has this little gum stimulator that he LOVES to chew on. Sometimes it really looks like he's brushing his teeth.

Crazy Weather

Recently we have been having some serious Highs and Low. Lydia is dying to wear her new dresses so we have had to make some wardrobe adjustments so that she can wear her dresses. Isn't she cute!

Is this how it's supposed to work?

Well, Eli is a very different baby than Lydia. Lydia did everything by the book, she mastered her skills right when she was supposed to (except talking... She's always been a little ahead of the game there). Well, Eli has just mastered a new skill... sitting unsupported! Ok, now you may say, well 6 months is the normal time to master sitting up and he's only 5 1/2, so that's pretty normal. EXCEPT he still isn't rolling over. Actually, he will occasionally roll from back to belly which is the harder way to roll. Either way, we are so proud of our little man!
